PipeDock™
Don’t be fooled by the name. The more you read about PipeDock the more you’ll realise how many different applications this compact shelter has.
PipeDock - with its open bottom and zipped entrances front and back - was initially developed for slipping over large-gauge ground level pipework on oil rigs and in power stations. When carrying out maintenance work, it keeps any sparks created by welding safely contained in a confined area. At the same time, it provides shelter from the wind and rain.
But PipeDock is also perfect for protecting exposed pipework and ducting when working below ground level. Just position it over the work ‘pit’ and its open bottom allows easy downward access. It could also be used by maintenance engineers working at ground level on roadside telecoms or traffic light control boxes.
Comprising a heavy gauge aluminium frame and a 1000 gauge fire retardant polythene cover with stitched seams and reinforced corners, PipeDock is a robust unit that can withstand continual heavy use.
Erection and dismantling is simple and takes only a matter of seconds, so the job in hand can be started without delay. The completed unit weighs just 29kg, allowing it to be easily carried into position by two people.
With a generous ‘footprint’ of 2.1m square, PipeDock features a concertina frame which allows the height to be adjusted up to 2.3m. Its light weight, sturdy construction and height adjustability make PipeDock a particularly versatile solution to a wide range of applications.
