SpeedFrames™
Conventional frames are known to rust rapidly, despite the layer of grease applied by the manufacturers. The SpeedDock™ frame is zinc electro-galvanised, a process that acts as an excellent rust inhibitor. Although excellent rust inhibitor so that they will stay looking good much longer than the alternatives.
The SpeedFrames™ comprise squares of galvanised tubular steel over which are slotted four upright sections. A square top section, identical to the bottom section is then slotted over the top to finish the chamber (sometimes called a "cube").
Three of these chambers are needed to make a triple-chamber airlock. The chambers come in three base sizes, 100cm, 74cm and 60cm and two heights 1.88m and 2m.
The HSE regulations require the use, wherever possible, of 100cm by 2m high chambers.
The SpeedFrames™ can also be wrapped conventionally for those with a lot of time on their hands! For the rest of us, there are SpeedDock™ airlocks available to fit all frame sizes.
The frame sits outside the airlock tent and does not come into contact with any hazardous waste. It remains clean and ready for immediate use and the frame does not need to be treated as hazardous waste.
